Team
Eric McGill
Founder & Lead Analyst
Eric McGill is a nationally recognized innovation strategist and award-winning expert in IP commercialization. With more than 25 years of experience helping IP owners avoid costly mistakes, validate their ideas, and launch market-ready innovations, Eric has become one of the most trusted voices in technology commercialization.
As the inventor of four patented technologies—three of which have been successfully commercialized, including two through self-led commercialization—Eric brings deep, hands-on expertise to every project. He has personally evaluated, valuated, and advised on more than 1,200 inventions spanning NASA, the U.S. Army, FDA, major universities, small businesses, and solo inventors across diverse sectors including aerospace, molecular biology, medical devices, diagnostics, AI, and green energy.
Eric formerly served as Senior Technology Manager at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Strategic Partnerships Office, where he managed multi-disciplinary space-based patent portfolios and licensed more inventions than anyone in the center’s history. In 2021, he was named Outstanding Technology Transfer Professional of the Year by the Federal Laboratory Consortium (Mid-Atlantic Region).
He also co-founded the NASA Invention Commercialization Training Camp, co-developing its curriculum to train engineers, researchers, and inventors on navigating IP strategy, funding pathways, prototyping, and deal-making.
Analytics Team
Our analytics function is powered by a network of highly skilled, independently contracted consultants with specialized training in patent valuation, market modeling, and commercialization probability scoring.

Development Team
The development team comprises independent AI and software engineers dedicated to advancing Patentelligence’s proprietary analytics platform.
